June 28th River Report

Posted by Jeff Gray on

This weather has been fantastic, lately. The water has been dropping consistently at a slow pace making for outstanding fishing conditions. Flows are still above average for this time of year but conditions are prime. You can still poke around with a salmon fly on the west fork and do well, particularly on the upper half. PMD’s and Goldens are becoming more prevalent and sometimes a smaller pattern will out fish the big bug. Drakes on the menu as well, particularly on cloudy days. No reported obstructions for now, stay tuned as the water levels drop new problems will surly arise. Fly Shop is open at 8:00 am everyday, stop by for the latest intel or a fresh supply of bugs.

West Fork: 651 CFS

Darby: 2760 CFS

Bell Crossing: 5210 CFS
